Introducing Revenue-Weighted Voting
Every vote on your board now carries the revenue of the account behind it, so the requests from your highest-value customers rise to the top on their own.
Raw vote counts have a quiet flaw: they measure how many people care, not how much the outcome is worth. A request with 200 votes from free users can bury a request from three accounts that pay most of your bills. Today we are fixing that. Revenue-weighted voting is now on by default for every board.
What changed
When an account is linked to sarvaFeed through one of your integrations, each vote it casts now carries that account's revenue. Your board can sort by raw demand as before, or by revenue-weighted demand, which surfaces the requests that move the business. Both views live on the same board, so you see popularity and value in one place.
Why we built it
Every roadmap review we sat in eventually turned into the same argument: this request has more votes, but that request comes from our biggest customers. Teams were exporting board data into spreadsheets to reconcile the two by hand. Revenue weighting settles the argument inside the board, with data your team already trusts.
- Votes inherit account revenue automatically from your CRM or billing integration
- Sort any board by raw votes or revenue-weighted demand with one toggle
- Segment filters combine with weighting, so you can see the top requests for a single plan or region
- Nothing about guest voting or public boards changes: the weighting is applied on the admin side
How to turn it on
If you already connect a CRM or billing tool, revenue-weighted voting is live on your boards now. If you do not, connect one from the integrations settings and votes start carrying revenue within minutes. There is nothing to install and no change to how your customers vote.
The best prioritization signal is the one that reflects how your business actually makes money. Popularity is an input. Revenue is the tiebreaker.
Revenue weighting is included on the Growth plan and above at no extra charge. It is the feature we are proudest to have shipped this quarter, and it is already reshaping our own roadmap.
